Job summaryThe AWS Documentation team is looking for a technical editor to edit AWS technical content and drive content standards in a cross-functional fast-paced environment.

Your responsibilities as a technical editor include performing all levels of edit on technical documentation and UI text for AWS services.
You'll work closely with writers, developers, product managers, and editors to standardize terminology, style, and usage guidance for AWS.
Editors influence and implement AWS content strategy and navigation, and they analyze content performance and drive projects to improve discoverability.
Experience with web analytics, web services, SEO, Linux, XML, and Git are a bonus.
While we don't expect you to be an expert in these areas, we hope you are excited to learn about them.

We partner with software developers to learn the inner workings of AWS services so that we can influence design and the customer experience.
