This position is for a highly-technical AWS subject-matter expert who can dive deep, work with customers, and collaborate with internal teams to build solutions around the AWS Outposts service.
Outposts brings native AWS services, infrastructure, and operating models to virtually any data center, co-location space, or on-premises facility.
Customers can use the same APIs, the same tools, the same hardware, and the same functionality across on-premises and the cloud to deliver a truly consistent hybrid experience.
Outposts can be used to support workloads that need to remain on-premises due to low latency or local data processing needs.
AWS Outposts infrastructure is fully managed, maintained, and supported by AWS to deliver access to the latest AWS services.
Candidates should be knowledgeable and have hands-on experience with multiple AWS services in the compute, networking, and storage spaces.
Customer-facing experience is required to build, demonstrate, and explain solutions.
Customer meetings may include customer roles across developers, architects, IT professionals, managers, and executives.
The successful candidate will get the opportunity to work with a wide array of AWS infrastructure architects and specialists, as well as being brought in as an Outposts expert to meet with customers and partners.
This is a customer facing role.
You may be required to travel to client locations to deliver professional services when needed.
Responsibilities include:
Solutions - Define and deliver virtual or on-site technical engagements with partners and customers.
This includes participating in pre-sales visits, understanding customer data protection requirements, proposing and delivering packaged offerings, and delivering custom solution engagements.
Responsibilities include:
Expertise - Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training, and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services in key market verticals & regulated industries such as financial services, gaming, healthcare, life sciences, and energy.
Delivery - Engagements will include migration of existing applications and development of new applications using AWS cloud services.
This will be done via virtual or on-site customer projects.
Insights - Work with AWS engineering, support, and business teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
