Job summaryTo meet the growing demand for Amazon Web Services globally, the AWS Public Sector tech team is seeking a dynamic, organized, and experienced Technical Project Manager.
You will lead collaboration with business and technical teams to deliver world-class solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible while maintaining a strong customer focus.
You will work with stakeholders and multiple business teams to identify, define, and specify solutions meeting data center operation's needs.
You will work with multiple technical teams globally to deliver those solutions.
You will be the face and voice for the project teams and ensure all stakeholders are aware of successes, risks and project status.
You will tailor your communications to specific audiences and communicate clearly and concisely to both business and technical audiences.
Key Responsibilities Include Execute and drive tech team program/project delivery, execution, and adoption across multiple organizations and teams Measure and report effectiveness of new programs Collaborate with project stakeholders in multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver on agreed upon milestones.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs Execute on communications strategy to stakeholders including ownership of business cadence (all hands, team meetings etc.
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner Build and maintain integrated reporting for areas of responsibility Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have AWS's success firmly in your focus Coordinate team needs (team activities, event planning, moves, etc.
) Own the business cadence and governance (weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews) for area of responsibility Own annual planning and other adhoc planning cycles Own goals/performance reporting Ability to travel up to 25% Lead project management of operational tool and process enhancement using Smartsheets or similar industry standard tool Lead operations management of tech team communication strategy Build and manage project schedules/plans to support project delivery Continuously monitor key metrics Plan and coordinate events including facilitation and action item management Partner with leaders to develop business rhythms such as recurrent meetings Manage risk by bridging interdepartmental gaps Monitor ingestion and acceptance of new tools and processes and improve deficiencies Coordinate team activities:
team events, moves, office structureKey job responsibilitiesThis role will be responsible for ownership of the global non-rack decommissioning processes.
They scope will include the development, maintenance, and iteration of global processes used to decommission non-rack products across the snow, glacier, device farm, ground control, and future non-rack services.
You will develop process, to secure media/IP through break/fix and device/infrastructure decommissioning.
You will manage the secure handling of the full product life cycle of non-rack services globally across multiple AWS regions and availability zones.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
