We own one of the largest supply chain simulation systems in the world to predict inventory flows for the millions of items available on Amazon.

com/) worldwide, and large scale in-production AB testing systems to drive innovation in production systems.
Inventory planning involves many algorithms to buy inventory in the right quantities, at the right frequencies, from the right vendors, and assigning to the best warehouse to fulfill customer demand to optimize long term free cash flow for Amazon.
Our system lives at the heart of these algorithms, keeping up with and driving the rapid pace of optimization improvements.
Our experimentation platform is critical in driving continued optimizations to the many algorithms behind Amazon's worldwide supply chain.
We are hiring, and we are especially looking for Business Intelligence Engineers (BIE).
What you'll do:
As a Business Intelligence Engineer in SimEx, you will solve real world problems by analyzing large amounts of business data, defining new metrics and business cases, designing experiments, creating models, and collaborating with teammates in business, software, and research.
The successful candidate will have a strong analytical background and can thrive in an environment that leverages statistics, machine learning, operations research, and business analysis.
As an BIE in SCOT's Simulation and Experimentation (SimEx) team, you will work closely with some of the brightest software engineers, scientists, economists, and product managers, to solve highly complex supply chain challenges.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
