Physical Therapist Primary Outpatient/Inpatient - $5000 Sign-On Bonus

This position is seeking a dynamic therapist interested in practicing primarily in the outpatient clinic at Water's Edge.
This position, like all of our therapy positions, will be required to practice to practice in our inpatient Acute Care and rehab areas as needed and in a rotating weekend schedule (about 1/10) and holiday schedule (one per year).
Position is Full Time and eligible for a comprehensive benefits and paid time off package. A $5000 sign-on bonus will be offered with a two year employment agreement.
The primary function of the Physical Therapist is to furnish the highest quality of physical therapy services possible, while providing the patient with a pleasant experience. The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for completing evaluations, developing written treatment plans, and providing ongoing treatments that are designed to improve the patient's functional status in conjunction with the overall treatment objectives. The PT recognizes that the responsibilities of this job are patient-centered, and, with that in mind, he/she will organize, supervise and render the highest quality of care to each patient.
Must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (approved by the Council of Medical Education
and Hospitals of the AMA and APTA) leading to a Bachelor, Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
Must be currently licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of Oregon.
Professional membership with active participation in the APTA is preferred.
CPR Certification.
One to three years or more clinical experience is preferred.
Must be eligible or certified in Functional Independence Measure.
Must be able to perform competencies and techniques as outlined on the Physical Therapy Skills Checklist.
Excellent organizational skills to facilitate program development.
Demonstrates competency, as appropriate to the ages of patients served, in the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patients needs; knowledge of normal growth and development; and an
understanding of the range of the treatment needed.
Skilled in home program development and family training.
Knowledge in appropriate selection and use of DME (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
